Spring is finally here, Minnesota

We are all working for the weekend, when we can relax and enjoy the great outdoors! Minnesota’s Walleye Opener is May 11th and you don’t have to miss all the fun this year. A new resident 72-hour fishing license is now available for just $12. So whether you want to get out on the Opener, or an upcoming weekend, the new resident 72-Hour license might just be your ticket to getting out on the water and remember all the fun fishing brings.

Purchase and print anytime online at mndnr.gov/buyalicense

If you’ve already purchased your 2013 fishing license, thank you for supporting Minnesota’s fisheries management. Your license dollars support management of 5,400 fishing lakes, and 150-plus conservation officers helping to make Minnesota one of the nation’s leading fishing states.

New options also include a resident 3-Year individual angling license for $63 and a resident or non-resident youth 16 & 17 year old reduced cost annual angling license for $5. A resident annual individual angling license for $22 and non-resident individual angling is $45.
